MEET THE FACILITATOR

Hi, I'm Carmen Spears

- an enthusiastic science communicator and creator of Inquisitive Kids Incursions.

My own three inquisitive kids inspire my love of sharing science. I am a curiosity-driven, life long learner and I bring my passion for learning to every incursion.

I hold a bachelor degree in social science, but have also studied applied physics, biology and psychology along the way.

An 'I did it' moment!

An 'I did it' moment!

My favourite part of science workshops is getting to include children in the act of discovery, to stretch and extend their natural inquisitiveness, and to witness them feeling 'I did it!'

I'm also lucky to work with the Children's Discovery Museum.

I deliver their fantastic Little Bang Discovery Club program to libraries, kindergartens and schools.

I also provide professional development PD training to librarians and teachers who would like to run the Little Bang Discovery Club program themselves.

Kids make great scientists. It is rewarding to share the delights of science with inquisitive children.

I look forward to meeting yours.
